Our Mission

To create tools that help kids explore the world through real images, imagination, and movement.

The Montessori parenting method advocates for real images as a way to support a child's natural learning. The thought being that children cannot distinguish between reality and fantasy. Montessori  aims to fosters children's natural curiosity. By showing them real images, we build a child's understanding of the real world. As children grow older, showing them an accurate representation of the real world gives them something to connect to.

In other words, imagine you knew nothing of the world, and were handed a book about turtles that shows turtles dancing, wouldn't you be a little disoriented/disappointed when you saw a turtle and it was unable to dance?

Why "Real" images? We like illustrations!

About The Owners

Laura Correa

Author & Children’s Yoga Instructor

Movement has been my way of staying grounded in motherhood. I’m drawn to a holistic lifestyle and love exploring what it means to be present with my son. We follow Montessori principles, honoring real experiences, independence, and the joy of everyday moments.

As a photographer, I specialize in capturing memories and telling the stories of children and families in every stage of life. I love when an image tells a story and how it can take you right back to that memory every time you look at it. I love slowing down, stopping, and taking life all in with my own four children.
